Ektron Recognizes Innovative Customer Websites With 2006 All-Stars Awards

Cuyahoga County Public Library Named MVP for Site of the Year

Amherst, N.H. – August 8, 2006 – Ektron, Inc., a technology and market leader in web content management software, today announced the winners of its 2006 Ektron All-Stars Awards. The company cited the best websites from 16 of its customers in 15 categories, including its MVP for site of the year, the Cuyahoga County Public Library. Each site represents an innovative and effective implementation of CMS400.NET, Ektron’s all-in-one application for creating, deploying and managing interactive web, intranet and extranet sites.

“The website has evolved into one of the most critical components of an organizations’ business model, and it takes a special blend of designers’ creative talents, developers’ technical savvy and forward-thinking strategies to create a successful one,” said Bill Rogers, founder and chief executive officer, Ektron. “Ektron’s All-Stars know what they want their websites to do and have demonstrated excellence in using their sites to deliver information and services, build and bind online communities and interact with their customers to help their organizations grow.”

The 2006 Ektron All-Star MVP is the Cuyahoga County Public Library (www.cuyahogalibrary.org), whose website redesign was completed by Ektron Gold Certified Partner Optiem LLC. As part of its vision to become the most convenient public library in the nation, the Ohio library system has made its site the public’s first source for information through a powerful, instant-access online library experience.
